Hey BAs, how are you all handling those epic-sized tickets? Ever had your team stuck in analysis paralysis because no one knows where to begin slicing the work? Because this you should know how to “Divide and conquer”. It refers to a problem-solving strategy that breaks down a large piece into smaller, more manageable subparts, solves each one individually, and then combines the solutions to solve the original problem. This approach can be used in various contexts, including to split Agile work. Slicing Agile work is one of the most important (and overlooked) BA skills. Done well, it unlocks flow, improves feedback, and keeps everyone focused on delivering value — not just velocity.
