Hey BAs! Heyo POs! In my last post, I discussed how Business Analysts (and Product Owners) can excel in Product Ownership by applying the discipline of Product Ownership Analysis (POA). As promised, this following post will continue with this in more detail. Today, I would like to dive deep into the key responsibilities of Product Ownership. Because effective POA is demanding, complex, and multi-dimensional, it requires a comprehensive and enhanced understanding of product ownership. The IIBA Guide to Product Ownership Analysis outlines six key responsibilities to support the delivery team. It requires a comprehensive understanding of the Product Owner’s role and includes the following:
